Join 46 North on a journey through the picturesque landscapes of the Westside Overland Trail, where rolling hills and flats await you. Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts of all levels, this trail offers a mix of easy to moderate terrains that will satisfy both beginners and seasoned hikers. Your solo adventure is open to others joining the team. Or choose a private group  of up to 3 and spilt the cost among your friends or family. Maximum 1:3 guide to client ratio.

Immerse yourself in the stunning scenery as you traverse through bogs, fields, forests, and cross over small streams. This hike is an out and back adventure of 6-10 miles depending on group ability. We will take a break along the trail for lunch with snack stops in mixed in. If you want to make this a longer overnight trip we can accommodate that as well.

Your cost includes all of the following

  • Experienced Guide and Adirondack 46R (9464)

  • Custom Trip Planning, Packing suggestions,

  • Group Gear (Water filter, first aid kit, Garmin inReach, Cooking Gear, Tent)

  • Snowshoes or MicroSpikes for winter hikes

  • On trail meals, snacks

  • Transportation to and from the trailhead from Erie, PA (if necessary)

  • CPR / First Aid Certified, Fully licensed and insured

  • Skills based, this isn’t just a walk in the woods

  •  Instruction, tips, tricks and practice navigating skills

These are demanding hikes, but very achievable for most people, even kids and families. The pace up and down is generally dictated by the group ability level. Going slower is not a bad thing, it provides much more enjoyment and time for picture taking. Train for bigger mountains or other major goals, embrace the challenge. Trip agreement and waivers required. A complete gear list required will be sent, or feel free to contact us for more information prior to booking your adventure.
